2007 Mission Trips

The Henderson County United Methodist Churches are planning to have three mission trip to Gulfport, Mississippi in late January and early February.

The dates are: Trip # 1 - leaving Sunday, 01/21/07 returning Saturday, 01/27/07; Trip # 2 - leaving Sunday, 01/28/07 returning Saturday, 02/03/07; Trip # 3 - leaving Sunday, 02/04/07 returning Saturday, 02/10/07.

A variety of carpentry skills are needed: Basic Skills: Holding a Hammer;
Experienced Skills: Finishing Drywall

If your skill level fits between those two levels then you are needed on these trips.

Fund raising is on going for these trips with the Owensboro District Office recently making a contribution of $500.00.

Bennett Memorial UMC, Cairo UMC, Chapel Hill UMC, First UMC thus far, have representatives going in either January or February.
